Government to Launch Covid-19 Vaccine Campaign for Children Aged 3-5

PHNOM PENH: Following the order of Prime Minister Hun Sen issued on Thursday night, the Ministry of Health has announced the launch of the vaccination campaign for children aged 3 to 5, which will begin from 23 February 2022 onwards.

The children of national civil servants can begin getting vaccinated from 23 February at Calmette Hospital, Ang Duong Hospital, the National Children's Hospital, the National Maternal and Child Health Center and Kantha Bopha Hospital.

The children of UN officials, embassy staff, staff of national and international organizations and tycoons can get vaccinated from 12-17 March at Calmette Hospital.

For the children of civil servants, contracted officials as well as the children of the general public, the 25 Capital-Provincial Administration will prepare vaccinations at various locations in the Capital and Provinces, which will be issued in a letter to the public from 23 February 2022 onwards.

The Ministry of Health also reminded that "the gap between the first and second doses is 28 days."

Accompanying documents needed when vaccinating children include a birth certificate or family book or residence book or passport, and a civil servant ID card or official ID card contracted by parents (for children of national civil servants).
